EXIT Real Estate Experts Partners with Second Harvest to Launch Community Food Drive

Collection Runs November 3 – December 20, 2025

Nashville, TN - November 10, 2025 — EXIT Real Estate Experts is proud to announce a partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank to host a community-wide food drive in response to recent SNAP benefit reductions that took effect November 1. The drive will run from November 3 through December 20, 2025, with collection boxes available at all three EXIT Real Estate Experts offices and multiple local business partner locations across Middle Tennessee.

“As food insecurity continues to grow due to changes in assistance programs, we felt a deep responsibility to take action,” said Elizabeth Lawson, Broker/Owner of EXIT Real Estate Experts East. “Partnering with Second Harvest allows us to make a direct impact in our local community, ensuring that families have the support they need this holiday season.”

Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables, soups, rice, beans, peanut butter, pasta, and other shelf-stable goods. Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours at any participating location.

In addition to community participation, EXIT Real Estate Experts is challenging other real estate offices and local businesses to join the effort to double the impact and help fight hunger across Middle Tennessee. By working together, the real estate and business community can make a powerful difference for families in need during the holidays.

Local Realtor Brings Halloween Spirit to the Community at Trail of Treats Event

White House, TN (October 30, 2024) - Last night, Cherie Tallhorse, a dedicated local realtor with EXIT Real Estate Experts, joined the community at the annual Halloween Trail of Treats event, spreading joy by giving out candy to trick-or-treaters and celebrating the spirit of Halloween.

Building on last year’s success, which attracted over 2,100 attendees, this year’s event continued the tradition of offering a fun, safe, and free celebration for families in the area. “It’s important for me to give back to the community that supports my business,” said Cherie. “Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces as they collect treats makes it all worthwhile.”

In addition to distributing candy, Cherie also hosted a Halloween giveaway, inviting attendees to enter for a chance to win exciting prizes. The giveaway was well-received, and is open until 10/31 on her Facebook page with the winner to be announced the following day.

This unique event aimed to showcase a commercial listing in the heart of East Nashville while embracing the spirit of Pride and promoting a welcoming environment for all.

Located in the heart of Nashville, the Open House event at 1016 Woodland St, brought together prospective tenants, community members, and supporters of LGBTQ+ rights. Attendees were treated to a vibrant display of drag performances, adding a festive flair to the property viewing experience.
