Hamilton, Montana (Grassroots Newswire) September 18, 2015 -- Max and Tina Coleman, Regional Owners of EXIT Realty Montana opened the gates of Sleeping Child Farm for a Regional Refresher attended by Brokers, Owners and Agents from EXIT Realty Yellowstone, Helena, Missoula and Bitterroot Valley.

“Our goal was to clearly demonstrate we are bigger than the individual offices in Montana,” stated Coleman.  “This event was an opportunity for our EXIT family to meet each other, get to know each other and have a great time doing it.  It’s not just about real estate.”

Their special guests Craig Witt, President of the Northwest US Division, Laura Roussel, Vice President of Regional Services and her husband Scott, Rick and Carol McDaniel, Regional Owners of EXIT Mid-Atlantic and Fernando and Laurie Campos, Regional Owners of EXIT Arizona each took a turn at the mike to reiterate that point.  It’s not about real estate.  It’s about being part of the EXIT family.

A large canopy had been set up on the lush green lawn overlooking the vineyard and Sleeping Child Creek.  There was a Rubber Duck Derby in the creek.  Various heats pitted the Regional Owners, the Franchisees and then the agents against each other.  There was also a pie eating contest with a trophy and bragging rights going to the winner.

Under the canopy, there were casual games while the bluegrass band, Bad to the Bone kept attendees toes tapping.  A simply fabulous meal was served.  Forrest Gump (Steve Webber), who had been meeting and mixing with everyone throughout the afternoon, spoke inspiringly of taking advantage of the opportunities that land in front of us.  He then introduced guest speaker, Cliff Hageman, Broker/Owner EXIT Realty Plus.

A year ago, Hageman had been in a horrific motorcycle accident.  Someone texting while driving turned right in front of him.  He nearly died.  Hageman spoke of the pain, the despair, the family and friend support, the struggle and the courage it took to get through the many, many surgeries, to make the final decision to remove his leg and to then work to rehabilitate.  He spoke of the new hope and purpose he has found; the new love and respect between him and his wife and his children.  It’s not about real estate.  It’s about family.  He spoke of the incredible support he had received from his EXIT family.  The success will come.  Hageman will be featured in September’s Success Magazine and will be a speaker at EXIT Realty Corp International’s Annual Convention in October in Nashville, TN.

Hamilton, MT (Grassroots Newswire) September 17, 2015 -- Regional Owners of EXIT Realty Montana, Max and Tina Coleman welcomed special guests Craig Witt, President of the Northwest US Division, Laura Roussel, Vice President of Regional Services and her husband Scott, Rick and Carol McDaniel, Regional Owners of EXIT Mid-Atlantic, Fernando and Laurie Campos, Regional Owners of EXIT Arizona and Cliff Hageman, Broker/Owner EXIT Realty Plus to their first annual Fly Fishing Conclave.  For many, it was their first time in Montana and their first experience fly fishing.

They spent their first evening at the home of fly fishing legend, John Faust.  John and his wife Elna graciously opened their home, entertained with fly fishing stories and showed off their fishing flies along with their memorabilia from the movie, ‘A River Runs Through It’.  Faust was the fly fishing consultant for Robert Redford on that movie.  ‘Fernando’, the fish caught by Brad Pitt in one of the last scenes, hangs proudly on the wall.  Guests received a handmade engraved wooden box with a variety of Montana flies and a copy of the book, ‘A River Runs Through It’ which Faust then autographed. 

The next two days were spent floating and fly fishing on the West Fork and Bitterroot Rivers.  Rick Thomas at Fly Fishing Always provided very patient and very knowledgeable guides.  While everyone caught fish, Cliff Hageman won bragging rights for catching the largest one. While on the river, the guests were treated to spectacular Montana scenery and a plethora of wildlife sightings including river otters, a bald eagle catching a fish and a rattle snake swimming the river. 

Dinner on Friday evening was a collaborative effort in the kitchen and on the deck at Sleeping Child Farm.  Forrest Gump (Steve Webber) wandered into the event and entertained throughout the evening.  Two large, four point bucks were spotted eating apples from the tree in the lawn. 

Saturday evening saw the group meander through the mountains and over the pass to the Broken Arrow to enjoy some of the best Mexican food in the country.  One of the guests had never seen the Rocky Mountains before.  The steep, winding road was a breathtaking experience for him.  “Dessert” was a very rare sighting of a grey wolf on the way home.
