Real Estate Expert Says Housing Recession Ending

Buyers are Re-Entering Market

Las Cruces, New Mexico (Grassroots Newswire) July 27, 2009 --Kathy Olson, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Horizons recently hosted a seminar at Hotel Encanto in Las Cruces with Alex Szinegh of Las Vegas, Nevada as the keynote speaker.

Szniegh reported that sales in all of the hardest hit markets like Florida, Arizona, California and Nevada were improving due largely to the median home price falling dramatically. In many cases multiple offers are being made which indicates the market has hit bottom. Some properties are actually selling for more than list price in some of the hardest hit markets such as Arizona where the median home price has fallen to $127,000 as compared to $260,000 prior to the downturn.

Olson says that with interest rates low and inventory high in Las Cruces this is an excellent time to purchase a home.
