She has been in real estate since 1979 and is a licensed broker in New York and New Jersey. She owned a seven-office real estate company in Long Island in the 1980 and 90s and she ran a mortgage company for 14 years as well.

Upon the sale of the mortgage company she became one of Prudential Long Island managers in the Dix Hills office, where she brought that office from a negative 4% to a positive 25% return in one year.

Then she moved to New Jersey and got her brokers license in 2002. She managed the Warren Burgdorff office for a year until she merged with Charles (Chuck) Hendershot at RE/MAX for a year. Next she opened the EXIT Realty office in Harding and ran the administrative department until she partnered officially with Chuck Hendershot.
