EXIT Realty Dedicates Habitat for Humanity Home in Austin TX

Austin, TX (Grassroots Newswire) – After months of anticipation and hard work, Mirna Santana's lifelong dream of homeownership became a reality on Saturday, March 27, 2010 in Austin, Texas. Christine Ireborg, EXIT Realty's Corporate Representative for Habitat for Humanity along with Dion McCormick, EXIT Realty's Regional Owner for Central Texas, handed over the keys to a very emotional and thankful new Habitat for Humanity homeowner.

"Thank you EXIT Realty, thank you Habitat for Humanity and all the volunteers for this blessing and opportunity that is going to change my entire life. I don't have words to express how I feel," Santana said.

"The EXIT Habitat for Humanity build in our region was a powerful and uplifting experience for all involved. An incredible turn out of EXIT Realty Broker/Owners and Associates helped us take a bare piece of land and turn it into a wonderful and beautiful home. There's something very special about putting a little elbow grease into a Habitat for Humanity project; it's good for the soul!" McCormick added.

EXIT Realty Corp. International has pledged over $1.68 million to Habitat for Humanity International, from a charitable fund derived of a portion of every transaction fee. Thank you all who pitched in by swinging hammers and sawing 2x4s to turn a pile of lumber and hope into a house that will be a home for Mirna Santana and her son Brian.
