Habitat for Humanity Dedication in Orlando, FL

Orlando, Florida (Grassroots Newswire) July 16th, 2010 -- On Wednesday July 14^th, 2010, a Habitat for Humanity dedication ceremony marked the beginning of a new life for one Orlando family. Beginning in January 2010, real estate agents, and brokers from EXIT Realty offices across North America volunteered their time and efforts into making the dreams for the Jacobs family a reality. A single mother of two children, who only dreamed of being a homeowner, has been given the opportunity in a safe neighborhood for a fresh start.

Tami Bonnell, president, U.S. organization of EXIT Realty Corp. International, flew into Orlando for the event to join the Jacobs family along with volunteers, EXIT Realty Florida brokers and agents. Janice Petteway, Broker/Owner of EXIT Real Estate Results in Orlando handed over the keys to the Jacobs family, opening the doors to their new home.

Colleen Forbes, V.P. Operations for EXIT Realty Florida commented on the experience stating: “To have the opportunity to be a part of something that changes the lives of those involved and provides a family with a bright future is something words can not describe. The experience was absolutely humbling and I am so grateful for it.”
