Changing After Nearly Eight Decades!

Shapleigh, ME (Grassroots Newswire) April 01, 2011 -- Recently hosting a WORKING LUNCH at Spring Hill Lodge in South Berwick, ME, Elias and Jane Thomas welcomed nearly ninety real estate professionals for a “Forecast for 2011 – how to make 2011 your BEST year”.

Attendees heard a number of different experts both in the finance and real estate industries.

Steve Soubble, Chief Financial Officer for Kennebunk Savings Bank, provided an overview of market conditions and how that affects mortgage rates.

Karen Scharf-Morin, vice-president for Branch Support for Kennebunk Savings Bank, announced the newest addition to the KSB offices – one in downtown Portsmouth, NH. Temporary headquarters have been established, during the construction of the new office.

Tami Bonnell, president of EXIT Realty International for the United States, then shared observations about real estate in a “down market”. Bonnell has been recognized by RISMEDIA as one of the Top Eight Most Influential Women in Real Estate, among other honors.

Jeff Lobb, a technology “guru” and vice-president for EXIT Realty International then presented an upbeat overview of using social media and a variety of technological gadgets available on the market today.

Following the luncheon and presentations, Elias Thomas then announced, “since my father-in-law, Richard “Duffy” Leach founded our agency in the early 1930s a number of changes have occurred. Duffy was often seen in front of the Sanford Trust Company Building holding “office hours”. In 1970, we opened our present location at the Foot of Mousam Lake.
