EXIT Realty Metro Hosts Emerging Artist, Pam Corbett

Minneapolis, MN (Grassroots Newswire) August 24, 2011 -- REALTORS® from EXIT Realty Metro in Minneapolis will be hosting Artist Opening at the EXIT Realty Metro Gallery on September 8, 2011 from 6-8 pm at One Groveland Terrace Suite 203, Minneapolis.

EXIT Realty Metro is proud to host mixed media artist Pam Corbett and her art as the ninth featured artist in the Emerging Artist Series.

Corbett creates her work with handmade and decorative papers on canvas and sometimes using acrylic paint for the backgrounds. A native Minnesotan, she initially made her living as a CPA and dabbled in various art forms. After moving to Arizona three years ago, she developed the paper painting method which she uses and exhibits today. What began for her as abstract painting has become an edgy, vibrant and very contemporary figurative form of art. For the past two years she has been represented by Manos Gallery in Tubac, Arizona. Her paintings can be found throughout the United States, Switzerland, and France. Her art will be on display at the EXIT Realty Metro Gallery until the end of October.
