EXIT Realty Float Wins Christmas Parade Competiton

Murfreesboro , TN (Grassroots Newswire) 12-16-2011 -- Exit Realty Bob Lamb & Associates Of Murfreesboro, TN won the " Mayor's Cup" as the best overall float entered in last week's Rutherford County Christmas Parade.

The sunny skies helped off set the cool temperatures and drew a large crowd which packed the street sides along the parade route.

The theme of this year's parade was a " Bicentennial Christmas" in honor of the founding of the City of Murfreesboro in 1811.

The Exit Realty float featured a rustic home with a snow covered yard decorated for Christmas.

The judges note in appreciation the volume of white smoke being emitted from the "Homes" chimney. In keeping with the parade's theme, a large painting of a round Christmas tree ornament bearing the inscription " 200 Years" with the words " Our Home Murfreesboro" beneath.

Many of the company's agents, staff, and families rode on the float while others walked along side passing out candy to children along the parade route.

Exit Realty Broker/ Owner Bob Lamb said " We have participated in the parade for several years, however this was the first time we had entered a float in the competition.

Our Agents and staff had a lot of fun building the float and being in the parade. Our team is fantastic!"
