EXIT Realty West Participates in Raise the Roof 5K Walk/Run in Sharonville

Sharonville, Ohio (Grassroots Newswire) 9/17/2012 -- Bright sunshine, and comfortable outside temperatures made the day perfect for EXIT Realty West to attend the Fourth Annual Raise the Roof 5k Run/Walk Saturday September 15, in support of the Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals. The walk/run kicked off at 10am at Sharonwood park and featured some of the park's beautiful scenic routes. The event was chip timed so athletes could have instant and accurate results at the finish line. After the walk/run, an after party was held featuring Mt. Carmel Brewery, drinks, food, and Habitat for Humanity themed games. EXIT Realty West participated as a team and had three walk/run race medal winners! Kristin Calendine, Broker of EXIT Realty West, Terry Newland of Lexington Kentucky, and Dakota Shadley of Washington Court House, Ohio were among those winners. Congratulations to them all!

Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity is best known for its homeownership program that builds and rehabs simple, affordable homes in partnership with low-income families and volunteers from the surrounding communities. They sell the homes with affordable, zero percent interest mortgages, making a 30-year commitment to each new homeowner and to the community in which they live.
