I moved to Las Cruces with my husband and three of my four children in 1997. Since then I earned my Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Master of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. I worked for nearly eleven years at New Mexico State University and Dona Ana Community College. While at the community college I helped hundreds of students choose their majors, register for classes and stay on track to receive their degrees.

I have lived in many places. I grew up in Missouri, then spent the next almost twenty years serving my country all over the world but my favorite place to live by far, is Las Cruces, New Mexico.
