Local EXIT Realty Metro hosts Emerging Artist exhibit opening Sept. 26

Minneapolis, Minnesota (Grassroots Newswire) September 19, 2013 -- Local real estate agency EXIT Realty Metro is hosting Minneapolis-based artist Zoe Keller from September 26 through November 1. Co-sponsored by The Playfessionals and The Title Group, the exhibition marks the twenty-first edition of the Emerging Artist Series and will open on Thursday, Sept. 26 with a free public reception at 5:30 p.m.

Keller is a self-trained artist who first began dabbling in art as a curator for local art shows. Working largely in the metro area, her pieces have been featured at the Hennes Art Gallery, other metro galleries as well as on the cover of Lavender Magazine.

The agency’s Emerging Artist Series began in 2009  when EXIT Realty Metro founder Carson Brooks decided to combine his passion for the arts with his growing business. The aim of the series is to promote and feature area-based artists as well as professional networking at the Artist Opening Event.

“We’ve got a steady following of entrepreneurs and art enthusiasts who regularly join us in supporting this initiative,” says Carson Brooks, Owner, EXIT Realty Metro. “It’s the perfect opportunity for folks in the area to meet one another and check out Zoe’s work, then perhaps head over to the Walker or a neighbouring restaurant afterward.”

The opening reception will be held on Thursday, September 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., featuring live music from Harold Minor and Friends.  The exhibit will be available for public viewing from Monday to Friday during regular business hours of 9 – 5, until Nov. 1.
