Off to the Races!

Oklahoma City (Grassroots Newswire) 12/17/2014 -- The offices of EXIT Realty Martin & Associates in Guthrie and Oklahoma City were recently ‘off to the races’ at Remington Park & Casino for a big celebration as the result of an in-house sales contest over the Summer.

In the beginning, each sales associate was assigned a ‘horse name’ and a race track visual was put up in the main office to track sales.  When an associate brought in a deal, their horse was advanced down the track and they picked two numbered cards – one for the race number and one for the horse.

The night of the party at Remington Park, there was a special EXIT Realty Martin & Associates race listed in their program, along with an EXIT Realty Martin & Associates purse for the race.  Throughout the night, their name was flashed on the 50-ft. Superscreen periodically.  After their race, they all went down to the Winners Circle, where Bo Martin, Broker/Owner, announced the top producers and winners of the contest.  The winners then were given the privilege of presenting the winner’s blanket to the owner of the horse and all had their picture taken with the winning horse, jockey and owners.

“It was a great contest and a great way to celebrate in the end,” said Bo Martin, Broker/Owner.  “Anita ‘Above & Beyond’ Robinson and Dawna ‘Deputy’ Elmore were our winners in a definite photo finish. Anita and Dawna both thought it was great getting to present the winner’s blanket and be in the Winner’s Circle.  They had no idea they were about to win the use of one of our two EXIT Smart cars, each!”

None of the associates had been told what the big surprise was for the top producers.  The Smart cars, which had only recently been purchased, had been hidden under covers at the track.  After the Winner’s Circle, everyone went outside where Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Elmore were presented with the keys to the cars.

The contest and party at the track were a great success.  As a side note, so that everyone was a winner and could have fun at the races, for each numbered card picked when an associate brought in a deal, Martin placed a bet in that associate’s name the night of the party.  This just added to an already exciting and fun night for all.
