 EXIT Realty Gives Back

A Partnership That Results in Homes

Hamilton, Montana (Grassroots Newswire) September 21, 2017
-- Almost everyone of EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley’s then 27 agents participated at various events in the three communities in which the Brokerage offices are located selling tickets for Habitat for Humanity (HfH) of Ravalli County’s 2nd Annual BBQ Bash as well as the draw for an ATV.

The BBQ Bash was held at Sleeping Child Farm, the site use donated by Max and Tina Coleman, Broker/Owners of EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley.  A beautiful setting, great live music and incredible food awaited those who attended.

Manning the BBQ were David Haywood and Max Coleman, President and Vice-President, respectively, of the HfH Board of Directors.  Famous local caterer, Mary Gehl, donated her time preparing all the delicious side dishes.  HfH’s current Stevi build and next Darby build partner families helped with serving food and parking.  Nashville 406 provided the live music.  Their toe tapping renditions of classic and modern country got folks out of their chairs and up dancing!

David Haywood introduced the new HfH Executive Director, Jordan Silva, who will be starting his new position at the end of August.  Silva spoke of his excitement at working with the Board, staff and volunteers to help those in need of safe, affordable housing in the Valley.

Excitement building, David Haywood asked the two oldest boys of one of the partner families to draw for first the steam clock and then the ATV.  The steam clock was built by Randy Parker, the donation truck driver.  The ATV was facilitated by Al’s Cycle with Ryan Englund coordinating transportation to all of our raffle ticket sales events.  Nona Walker won the steam clock.  Phyllis Reidman won the ATV.

Board Members, Staff and Volunteers had experienced a lot of changes during the year.  The BBQ Bash proved an excellent vehicle for reminding all of HfH’s mission in the Valley.  It was wonderful to relax, enjoy friends and neighbors in a tranquil location.  The day was made much sweeter knowing that EXIT Realty Corp International had granted a dollar for dollar matching grant.  Last minute draw tickets were purchased to make the most of the grant.  Habitat for Humanity is both EXIT Realty Corp International’s and EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley’s charity of choice. To date, EXIT Realty Corp has pledged more than $3.5 million to Habitat.  With thanks to EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley, those dollars are destined for the Ballas home in Stevensville and the Furlong home in Darby.
