Jeanne is a North Dakota native who grew up in a small town helping on her father’s farm. After school, she went to the west coast and lived in Portland, OR for 15 years. She enjoyed a career in the hospitality industry, working in customer service. It is in Oregon were she discovered her true passion of hiking and backpacking. She can boast an average of hiking 600 miles a year. In 2014, she met her husband Michael and his son Micah. She moved back to ND 3 years ago and stayed home to raise their daughter, Opal. She also took over as caretaker of her parents. Jeanne and Michael wanted to create a life they didn’t need a vacation from, and they knew they wanted to raise their children similar to where they grew up, just with a mountain views and small town values. They fell in love with Darby and are both excited to become active members of the community. It’s been Jeanne’s lifelong dream job to sell real estate and is definitely a people person.
