LOCAL REALTOR DONATES TO SECOND CHANCE ANIMAL SERVICES

Brookfield, MA December 16, 2019 – Dawn North, Realtor® at EXIT Real Estate Executives donated $1000 through her PAWS For A Cause fundraising program to Second Chance Animal Services.  EXIT Realty Corp. International matched the $1000 through their Spirit of EXIT program to make the total donation $2000.

Dawn started the PAWS For A Cause fundraising program after her family adopted their dog Zoey from the Second Chance Animal Shelter in December of 2018.  Second Chance had rescued Zoey along with a the rest of her litter from a high kill shelter in Mississippi.  Zoey has brought so much joy to the family that Dawn created the PAWS For A Cause fundraiser because she wanted to be able to help Second Chance rescue and care for more animals so that other families could adopt and have veterinary care for their family pets.  Dawn will be continuing with the PAWS For A Cause fundraiser in 2020.

The $2000 donation to Second Chance will help the animals at the shelter in East Brookfield find homes and all the programs at the Community Veterinary Hospitals in North Brookfield, Springfield and Worcester.  Second Chance provides full service veterinary care at all of the hospitals and they also offer subsidized pricing for those that qualify.  They have an Advanced Care Unit at the North Brookfield hospital to treat critical care cases.  They also have a low cost spay/neuter program in the North Brookfield and Springfield locations to help control the pet population.

Dawn North, Real Estate Agent with the Michelle Terry Team at EXIT Real Estate Executives has created the PAWS For A Cause fundraiser to benefit Second Chance Animal Services.  For every home that she sells for $150,000 or more Dawn will donate $100 back to Second Chance.  If the client is sent to her by referral or by Second Chance she will donate an additional $100.  Also, EXIT Realty International Corp. through their Spirit of EXIT Campaign is matching donated funds up to $6000.  Dawn’s goal is to raise $6000 from her own sales and with the matching funds from EXIT the total funds donated to Second Chance would be $12,000.
