Local EXIT Realty Owners give back to the community

Filled backpacks for children in the homeless shelter.

Woodbridge Township, NJ (Grassroots Newswire) August 31, 2009 -- Local EXIT REALTORS®, Karen and Bill Farragher, donated 20 fully filled back packs with school supplies using some of the money from their residual checks to Emmanual's Corner.

EXIT Realty's Head Office pays their associates a residual bonus equivalent to 10 percent of the gross production generated by any agent introduced to the company by the associate who is hired by management.

"When we joined EXIT, we knew that we could use the residual bonuses to help great causes," say the Farragher's of EXIT First Choice Realty. "we've decided to dedicate a certain percentage of our residual earnings to give back to the community."

Emmanual's Corner is run by Glynnis Robertson who doesn't accept any money from any government agencies and relies soley on the charity of people and businesses. She is pleased that the Farragher's have chosen this as one of their organizations to help. This is the 3rd year they have done this and it definately makes a difference to a child that has nothing. Emmanual's Corner is located at 59 Broad St in Eatontown NJ. They also do a Holiday dinner for Thanksgiving and for Christmas they focus on those in the homeless shelters. Glynnis says that most of the time around the Holidays everyone always remembers their own families and often forget those less fortunate.
