The Last Week: A Commentary by EXIT Realty Corp. International Founder & CEO, Steve Morris

Reflect on what's been accomplished and be proud of all the things you did right

Idaho Falls, ID (Grassroots Newswire) 12/23/2010 --December has now arrived. Whatever you had planned to do this year is, for the most part, done. December is a finishing time and the best way to do this is with finesse.

Close your year off gracefully. Reflect on what's been accomplished and be proud of all the things you did right. In particular, be good to yourself and your family during the last week of this month. Set out purposefully to have the finest week of your life this year from the 24th day till the 31st. Spend time with those who really matter to you. Take off your real estate hat and live very much in the moment. Be comfortable with yourself and enjoy. Simply let all the tension, anxieties and stress disappear completely.

Get grounded. Allow the season, the occasion and the surroundings to fill in your gaps. Allow peace of mind to enter in. Relax. Be present when you are present. You may find that your presence is indeed the finest present you could give to those who are really important to you.

That last week is not about what you did, it's about who you are. These last seven days are really all about your understanding of the words harmony, peace and calm. It really has very much to do with a word that few people can relate to: Joy. As you peruse your year and perhaps your entire life during this sojourn, ask yourself about joy. How much has there been? How much have you experienced? How much have you expected? How much have you allowed? In fact, how well have you lived your life? When you do this, think only about the good stuff.

The last week of this month is not for moping and groaning or complaining. It's about how much goodness is going on in your life and how much more is possible. When you look really closely at this, you will discover much more than you think. Assess your life from a goodness point of view only. Negativity is simply not allowed. If you had to write down all the good things that you've got going for you – how much is it? If you defined your life this way and this way only, how good is it?

Spend the last 7 days in a total positive mode of thinking and reflection. Don't let one negative thought in. Not one. None! This is a time for goodness only. Go on a positive thinking diet for 7 days. No negative words or thoughts whatsoever. Finish 2010 with grace. Close it off graciously. Don't tell anybody. Just do it. Every moment of every day for 7 solid days. Be relentless. Finish 2010 with a totally positive and peaceful mind, a caring and sharing heart and a healthy and vibrant body. Let the spirit of the season flow comfortably through you and enjoy every moment, every conversation and every experience. Deliberately make this one the best of the best. Do it so well that you will look back in the future and say "that was one of the very finest weeks of my entire life."

You can do this and you should do this. You should start now.
