Minneapolis, MN (Grassroots Newswire) December 30, 2011 -- The EXIT realty Metro gallery is hosting three local artists in their Emerging Artist Series. The showing is in the EXIT Realty Metro’s Gallery located at One Groveland Terrace, Suite 203 Minneapolis just South of the Walker Art Gallery. The art will remain on display until January 13th with many pieces available for sale.

Martha Rockenstein is a native of Minneapolis and a Christian Educator by profession. One of her favorite hobbies is photography. She is often asked or volunteers to be the “official” photographer at congregational or family events. She especially enjoys documenting her world travels through pictures. She also enjoys photographing the colors, shapes, and stories of God’s amazing creation. Martha is excited to share her photos with others in this her first Art Show!

Andrea Miller Fazenden grew up and is currently living and working in the Minneapolis area. She studied at the University of Montana in Missoula and graduated with honors as a University Scholar. Andrea began creating “inner landscapes” at the age of 14 and has been developing her process since in order to represent her thoughts and experiences. Through her paintings, Andrea aims to gently challenge the viewer while sharing her encounters with the world. Andrea states, “I start with a backdrop of saturated color and build up. Then I draw lines softly or harshly or matter-of-fact-ly. Whatever style best suits the present moment. Affix layers of color and stain. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat, Repeat to create translucent structures and surroundings. Stop by to see her extra ordinary art.

Gary W. Moss is a wildlife artist that has spent his entire life in the wild – fishing, hunting, observing. Gary’s work has been, and still is to this day, a reflection of his love and experiences with wildlife. Over the last thirty years his artwork has been featured frequently by many Minnesotan and National conservation groups. Gary notes, “From the 1970’s I have been incredibly fortunate to spend my life doing what I love most – hunting and painting.” His list of awards and recognitions is to extensive to print here – stop by EXIT Realty Metro and see a sampling for yourself.
