EXIT Extreme Cares Initiative: Positively Changing Real Estate

Tampa, Florida (Grassroots Newswire) April 22, 2013 -- EXIT Extreme Realty of Tampa Bay has recently rolled out a new program “EXIT Extreme Cares.” The new initiative stems from Broker/Owner Ed Moore’s philosophy that any office environment, whether it is a real estate office, insurance office, or even retailer, everyone can benefit by giving to others. The idea of benefiting from “within” means not only from a business standpoint, but each individual that participates in the program expresses a strong feeling of having done something positive for someone else. Moore states, “This feeling cannot be measured in dollars and cents, only in how we feel about ourselves.”

EXIT Extreme Realty has implemented this program creating a three dimensional concept in their office involving business with purpose. The initiative simply involves a glass jar in the reception area of the office. Beside this jar is a flyer asking agents and other staff to put suggestions in it directed to their Broker (Ed) suggesting a person or cause that might benefit from a group of volunteers from their office donating a few hours to help them. This program has already proved to be highly beneficial to the office and creates a domino effect of positive results. An example of how this simple glass jar has already helped not only agents within the office but the surrounding community is one that involves two agents, Alex Cruz and Heather Stamp, who had listed a house in the area that needed a little “TLC.” These two agents suggested the office help to fix up the property. With a few volunteers, a couple of hours, music, rakes and shovels, the job was done. From zero dollars invested and a few hours of the office volunteers’ time, everyone felt a sense of accomplishment, the homeowner was extremely happy, and the community members were thrilled by the outcome and the fact it was done by a real estate company just out of sheer will.
