Local Agency Rallies to Save Lives
EXIT REALTY PEI Agents Help Canadian Blood Service
Charlottetown, PE (Grassroots Newswire) April 5, 2013 -- The local Canadian Blood Service agency was pleasantly surprised when EXIT REALTY PEI agents recently rallied together to save lives. EXIT REALTY PEI is the first brokerage on the island to join the local Canadian Blood Service, “Partners for Life” program.Partners for Life members commit to saving lives by donating blood as a team.
“Supporting the blood bank, by setting up a group donation at the blood donor clinic on 85 Fitzroy Street in Charlottetown, was a simple decision for our agents.” said broker, David Lipton. “Saving lives together and working towards a common donation goal is not only rewarding for the agents, it is the ultimate team builder for our organization. We are now promoting the “Partners for Life” program across the network of EXIT Canadian franchises.”
It can take up to 5 donors to save someone who needs heart surgery so a group donation of this size quite possibly saved the lives of 2 hospital patients. That is quite an impact on the community made in just one afternoon.
