Guthrie, Oklahoma (Grassroots Newswire) May 14, 2013 -- O-State Equine Assisted Therapy (OSEAT) was founded by Jeff and Bobbie Hartpence in 2010, located on a 20 acres ranch they call Answered Prayers Ranch in Guthrie, OK.  It is a 501c3 non-profit (pending) organization created to give back to our countries veterans and wounded soldiers suffering from Post Traumatic Stress, traumatic brain injury and depression through the use of equine assisted therapy.  Their mission is to contrubute to the stimulation and development of our country's active duty military and veterans, cancer patients, and their families with physical, mental, emotional and social limitations through an educational based program utiliaing Equine Assisted Learning programs and principles.

O-State Equine provides a non-traditional form of 'therapy' in a non-clinical setting to help veterans and soldiers returning from Irag and Afghanistan and their families reintegrate back in to civilian life. We offer them a place to get away from the normal everyday stressors of civilian life, a place to begin to heal. A place to interact with the horses in a variety of forms, whether that be simply grooming or ground work exercises to riding. All Free of Charge!
