The National Association of Realtors did a survey last year (2013) on what most buyers are looking for in their next home.

Today’s buyers are willing to pay more for a home that is considered to be “move-in” ready. A home complete & ready to move in. No renovations or upgrades needed.

We all know buyers are different with different needs & wants, but based on this survey it will give you the top 5 things that came up the most.

1)  57% of buyers want a fireplace.

2)  78% of buyers want a garage.

3)  69% of buyers want new appliances or typically ask for a seller credit of $1800.00 to $2000.00 for replacement.

4)  65% of buyers want central air condition.

5)  Rooms with the highest dollar value based on the survey are homes that offer a basement, in-law suite, 1^st floor master, study/den.
