Hamilton, Montana (Grassroots Newswire) May 25, 2016 -- Originally from California, Beatrice found her way to the Bitterroot Valley in search of a new home in 2005 with a plan to eventually retire there.  In 2012, she retired from the California Department of Corrections. Shortly after retiring, she returned to the Bitterroot Valley.

Beatrice has worked with people her entire life. Early on, she was employed in the service industry for a good ten years. She was a youth correctional counselor and a special education teacher for the California Youth Authority. Many years later, she transferred over to the Department of Corrections as a parole agent.

“Beatrice’s educational background consists of a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, a master’s degree in special education, and two years of law school,” said Max Coleman, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley.  “She brings a very unique perspective and we are thrilled to have her as part of our growing EXIT family!”

Beatrice loves road trips, water sports, snow skiing, and animals. She is active in horse rescue and has her own little sanctuary. In addition, she is a board member of The Wings Programs, Inc., a local equine rescue and assisted therapy.
