EXIT Realty’s Bernie Flax of Ocean Pines Receives 2016 Outstanding Achievement Award

Ocean Pines, Maryland (Grassroots Newswire) August 19, 2016 - EXIT Realty At The Beach’s Bernie Flax was recently awarded 2016 Outstanding Achievement Award by the Coastal Association of REALTORS^®.

Presented to Bernie from the Coastal Association of Realtors, the Recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Achievement Award is a model Realtor whose dedication and enthusiasm have been key to the continued development of our Association. Bernie is a regular committee volunteer, having served on the Community Involvement, Technology Membership and Communications Boards, and currently serves on the Board of Directors.  Bernie has also completed various special assignments on behalf of the Coastal Association, including the Association Executive Search and Strategic Planning Task Forces.  Bernie is very active with the Women's Council of Realtors and has been a member of the Coastal Delmarva WCR since 2008.  Since then, she has served WCR as Governing Board Secretary and as a member of the Board of Directors.  In recognizing the importance of RPAC, Bernie stepped up to the plate this year as a Major Investor and Sterling R.   She is active in her community and is currently serving on the Ocean Pines Communication Committee and the Habitat for Humanity Property Search Committee.  She also volunteers for the Ocean Pines Health Fair and Habitat for Humanity International.  Bernie opened EXIT Realty At The Beach in October 2015 with the goal of running a local, boutique-style independent franchise focusing on the person, lifestyle and total experience of her clients.  She also recently partnered with Homes for Heroes along with another EXIT Realty At The Beach Associate, Ann Holtz.  Regarding their business philosophy, Bernie said, "I believe my focus on the importance of a strong Broker/Owner to Realtor Associate relationship is critical to my brokerage  and agent success and retention.  Agents enjoy my personal attention as a very involved local broker/owner, which allows us to raise the bar in our agent and real estate services.  We are a family, and families build on the success of all the family members."
