Hermitage EXIT Realty Office Gives Back to the Community

Hermitage, TN (Grassroots Newswire) 10/26/16 -- In gratitude for the support shown to EXIT Realty Lakeside by the local community, the real estate brokerage recently donated $500.00 to Morning Star Sanctuary.

"We appreciate being a part of this wonderful community and welcome the opportunity to give back," says Jamie Knight, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Lakeside.

Morning Star Sanctuary (MSS), an emergency shelter for abused and battered women, has beginnings going back to the mid 1980's. Originally part of a community outreach program for Madison Church of Christ until 2001, MSS renovated and reopened the shelter in 2002. Their main focus is to empower adults so they can live productive, fulfilling and independent lives. Since their inception, MSS has gone on to help over 800 adults and children with a place to stay, counseling and legal services.

Unfortunately, helping those in need comes at a cost; the shelter spends $14.50 per person every day for a period of up to 90 days.
