Pinehurst, NC (Grassroots Newswire) 11-28-2019 -- EXIT Realty Preferred is participating in a fundraiser for the Sandhills Children's Center.  The Festival of Trees is being held at the Carolina Hotel in Pinehurst, NC by decorating a tree and donating it to the Center thus raising funds through the bidding process. The Carolina Hall will be turned into a winter wonderland filled with decorated trees, decorations and gifts for the Holiday Season. 

Come visit us at the Carolina Hotel in Pinehurst between November 20th and 24th while you stroll through the winter wonderland and enjoy our “Unicorn” tree dedicated to Elizabeth. Elizabeth and her sister Elaina were born December 21, 2017; although Elaina did not have special needs her twin did required hospitalization and continues to require special care thus the dedication of our “Unicorn” tree.

The “Sparkling Unicorn” is fabled to believe in miracles.  Their story goes as follows the unicorn could not fly and her friend the fairy encourages her to keep trying, and trying, and trying until one day she flew off the cliff and soared through the air – a miracle for the disabled unicorn.  Thus, the unicorn became the symbol of a medically needed child and a symbol that miracles do happen.

The Sandhills Children’s Center provides much needed equipment, and specialty items for children throughout the area; mainly with children with special needs.  In addition, to the physical needs of the child they often give emotional support to both child and parent.
