Culpeper Real Estate Market Overview

Culpeper, Virginia (Grassroots Newswire) 11/8/19 -- According to the Bright MLS, home sales in the Culpeper market were UP last month.

Sales activity surged in Culpeper County this quarter. There were 217 sales in the County in the 3rd quarter, 42 more sales transactions than a year ago, representing a 24% jump. This is the largest sales growth in the County in more than 4 years.

Price growth in the Culpeper housing market continues to be consistent and strong. At $309,075, the 3rd quarter median sales price rose 7% from last year, a gain of more than $19,000. Sales prices have been trending up in the County for several years, a reflection of continued buyer demand in the local housing market and fewer active listings available.
