EXIT Capstone Realty Hosts Help Holt Heal Hootenanny

Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Grassroots Newswire) 04/13/2023 -- Real estate agents from EXIT Capstone Realty in Tuscaloosa will be hosting Help Holt Heal Hootenanny on April 16th, 2023 at Downtown Social Tuscaloosa.

Join us for the Help Holt Heal Hootenanny for great music, amazing food, and more on Sunday April 16, 2023 1pm-4pm at Downtown Social located at 400 20th Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. 

EXIT Capstone Realty will be securing prizes for raffles, organizing activities, manning the door and entry tables, event promotion, flyer distribution. All proceeds will go directly to Help Holt Heal Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to the revitalization of the Holt community. Fundraising raised during this initiative will be used to clean up the area of trash and debris, address blighted housing in the Holt area, and to begin plans for a community garden.

Homes that are uninhabitable due to damage or neglect are left to ruin because they exist outside the jurisdiction of zoning and ordinance enforcement despite their central location. The blight of the area was only worsened after the devastating tornado that struck the city in April 2011. Holt being one of the communities to witness the largest loss of life and property is one of the main reasons this initiative and partnership with EXIT Capstone Realty is so important,” said Ray Allen, director of Help Holt Heal Inc.
