EXIT Realty Heart Properties Hosts Zebra Fest 2024, a fundraiser for the United MSD Foundation

Ocean Springs, Mississippi (Grassroots Newswire) February 22, 2024 -- Real estate agents from EXIT Realty Heart Properties in Ocean Springs will be hosting Zebra Fest 2024, a fundraiser for the United MSD Foundation on March 1 at Val's Sports Bar & Grill.

EXIT Realty Heart Properties is passionate about supporting The United MSD Foundation, which has grown into a worldwide support network for families who are caring for children with MSD. The United MSD Foundation has roots right here in south Mississippi. In 2016, an Ocean Springs family got heartbreaking news: their two year old daughter was diagnosed with Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency, a terminal and rare genetic disease that without treatment would severely disable their child and eventually lead to an early death (generally before age 10). Rather than accepting that there was no hope, Amber Olsen started a grassroots campaign that later grew into her founding the United MSD Foundation. The United MSD Foundation is aggressively working toward finding a cure for this disease, and in the short time since its founding they already have the scientists, doctors, facilities, and permissions in place for the first ever phase I clinical gene therapy trial for MSD to begin- they just need the funding to make it happen.

Zebra Fest is being held this year on March 1 from 5:00 - 9:00pm at Val’s Sports Bar & Grill in Ocean Springs. There will be food, drinks, games, live entertainment, 3D photo booth, and an show stopping silent auction, all to raise money for the United MSD Foundation. Last year’s Zebra Fest raised more than $10,000 total to benefit the United MSD Foundation. We are hoping to make our third annual Zebra Fest even more successful this year. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT Realty Corp. International will match the net funds raised by EXIT Associates benefiting United MSD Foundation up to $2,500.00 until March 15, 2024.
