 NYSAR'S PAST PRESIDENT NICK GIGANTE JOINS EXIT REALTY

Massapequa Park, NY (Grassroots Newswire) May 11, 2017-- EXIT Realty Downstate New York today announced that New York Association of REALTORS’^® past president, Nick Gigante, has joined EXIT Realty Premier in Massapequa Park as an Associate Broker.

Nick has been a Real Estate Broker for over 40 years.  In those years, he has listed and sold many homes, managed real estate offices, recruited, trained, managed and motivated many agents.   For the past 20 years, he’s owned several major franchise real estate offices in Long Island, New York.

Gigante is also a certified New York State real estate instructor and has taught for the Long Island Board of REALTORS^® (LIBOR) since 1990.  That same year, he became active with the New York State Association of REALTORS^®, serving on the Board of Directors and chairing and vice chairing many of their committees.  He has since taught for many real estate boards across the state, including the Westchester Board, Rockland County, Orange, Oswego Delaware and Ithaca Boards. He teaches the salesperson and broker qualifying courses, National Association of REALTORS^® Ethics training course, Fair Housing and Cultural Diversity courses, and has written and taught on the subjects of buyer broker, risk management, client advocacy, and many other required continuing education courses. In 1993 Nick became the President of the Long Island Board of REALTORS^® and he was honored as REALTORS^® of the Year in 1994.

In 2009 he became a NYSAR instructor where began teaching the prestigious Graduate REALTORS^® Designation (GRI). He was elected as the Association’s Treasurer and later their President Elect in 2010 becoming New York State Association of REALTORS’^®’s President in 2011.  He has remained a Director servicing on many committees and Chairing NYSAR’S 2015 faculty Development Committee.

Expansion of Franchise Opportunities

Syosset, NY (Grassroots Newswire) Dec. 6, 2016 -- EXIT Realty Downstate New York (http://EXITNY.com) announced today that in support of their rapid expansion, Kathy Engel has been appointed Director of Franchise Sales. Engel brings with her 30 plus years of Real Estate sales experience at the national, state and local board levels, including the New York State Association of REALTORS^® (NYSAR), Long Island Board of REALTORS^® (LIBOR), along with a  desire to assist in the development of new offices throughout the Long Island and New York City areas. The appointment of a Director of Franchise Sales is the latest move in   EXIT Realty Downstate New York’s recent strategic sales restructuring initiative. Additionally, the successful Real Estate Sub-Franchisor has expanded to new Head Quarters office space in Syosset, NY which will  support the large influx of Brokers and Sales Associates joining the operation.
