Michael Hartung Realtor Named to Minneapolis Association of Realtors Board of Directors

Minneapolis, Minnesota (Grassroots Newswire) 9.23.2016 -- The Minneapolis Association of Realtors (MAAR) announced today the appointment of EXIT Realty Metro’s Realtor, Michael Hartung, to the 2017 Board of Directors.  Hartung has been a licensed realtor for over three years and has been very involved with several MAAR committees including the Diversity Committee (Vice-Chairman), the Governmental Affairs Committee and Young Professionals Network (YPN). He has received the MAAR’s  Emerging Markets, Jean Leake Scholarship and represented the Association at the National Association of Realtors Annual convention in Washington DC. Hartung is also on the Global Council, Research and Technology Committee and the National Associations of Realtors (NAR) Diversity Committee.

Michael’s education, life and travel experience, leadership skills and knowledge of the Hispanic community made him an excellent candidate for this appointment. Michael’s passion is to explore various cultures, understand diversity and accommodate home-buyers from around the world.

Hartung joined EXIT Realty Metro in June of 2013. Since then, he has steadily increased his network of connections and grown his real estate business. He also is sharing the EXIT opportunity with other like-minded Realtors joining the business.

Michael acquired his Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation this past year.

Realtor Michael Hartung Receives Jean Leake Scholarship

Minneapolis, MN – EXIT Realty Metro Realtor, Michael Hartung, has be awarded the Jean Leake Emerging Markets Scholarship by the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors.

As a part of the scholarship, he will represent the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors at the National Association of Realtors Mid-Year Conference in Washington DC. While in DC, he will meet with Minnesota members of congress as well as attend meetings and events to continue to promote diversity in home-ownership.

As stated on his application for the award, Michael has a passion to work with buyers from the emerging markets within and around the Twin Cities. Michael is active on several real estate committees including serving as Treasurer of the Minneapolis Area Association of Young Professionals Network.

A native of the metro area, Michael is based in the EXIT Realty Office in downtown Minneapolis.  He is bilingual and works with clients from emerging markets as well as the EXIT buyer relocation team for clients coming to the twin cities.
