Virginia Beach EXIT Realty Office Gives Back to the Community
Virginia Beach, Virginia (Grassroots Newswire) December 23, 2013 -- In gratitude for the support shown to EXIT Realty Professionals by the local community, the real estate brokerage recently participated in the 12th Annual Radiothon to raise money for Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD) in Norfolk, Virginia. The three-day event was hosted by local radio station 94.9 The Point.Volunteers from EXIT Realty Professionals answered phones during the telethon, which raised a total of $281,029. Realtors Tom Hubba, Andy Hubba, Betsy Forte, Eli Miller, Jeremy Stansbury, Rob Waring, Rickita Walley, Paul Pavon, Stacie Huck, Lisa Mann, Shellie Marshall and Robin Gauthier took pledge calls from local residents and businesses during the event. "The money raised is used to help families of children where insurance can't," said Tom Hubba, broker and owner of EXIT Realty Professionals. "This is a special cause that allows us to give back to the community and help the kids at Virginia's only freestanding pediatric hospital." The Virginia Beach real estate and property management firm collectively donated $1,500 to support the hospital, which cares for more than 47,000 children every year, regardless of their families' ability to pay for services. EXIT Realty Professionals challenged other real estate companies to match the gift.
