REAL ESTATE LARRY ANDERSON RECEIVES EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

Fairfax, Virginia (Grassroots Newswire) 2/24/10 -- Exit Advantage Realty's Associate Broker Larry Anderson was recently awarded the EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD at the Virginia Association of REALTORS® (VAR) Annual Awards Reception.

The Outstanding Real Estate Educator Award recognizes a REALTOR® who exemplifies leadership and service and has made significant contributions to real estate education at either the state or local level. It is named in honor of one of Virginia’s most well-known and dedicated educators, the late George Rink.

A member of the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® (NVAR), Anderson has authored more than 20 courses on residential and commercial real estate for NVAR. He is licensed to teach Principles of Real Estate, Continuing Education, Post Licensing Education, and Broker Continuing Education. He is also a nationally certified instructor for ABR, EBuyer, Innovative Marketing, REPA, Real Estate Auctions, At Home from Work, and the National Association of Realtors’ Green designation.

In 2005, Anderson created and delivered a series of high-level training sessions for real estate agents to identify mortgage fraud for Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Most recently, he authored NVAR’s Broker Management continuing education course, reintroduced at NVAR in 2009.
