EXIT Realty Helps Form Merchant's Association

New real estate franchise takes active role

Lorton, VA (Grassroots Newswire) July 19, 2010--EXIT Realty Associates partners, Gloria Jackson, Jacquely Nunez, and Karen Brown, opened their new office in February 2010. It was not long after that they became instrumental in forming the first ever Lorton Station Town Center Merchant's Association to enhance the Lorton Town Center community. Creating a pedestrian-friendly atmosphere where residents and merchants interact with each other is a primary focus.

Their business philosophy which they have adopted from their affiliation with EXIT Realty Corporation International in Canada, encouraged them to enlist the cooperation of the businesses in The Center to benefit the community at large. At the request of the center's management team, the EXIT partners helped form the Merchant's Association and increased the participation in the annual July 4th Lorton parade.

The Lorton Station Town Center's Merchant Association is now fully formed and is planning new activites including charity events through the end of this year and into 2011. The goal for the Association is to create a feeling of community in the Town Center as well as reaching out to the Lorton area by giving back to the community that supports them.
