Local Real Estate Agents in Oklahoma City Receive The Spirit of EXIT Award

Oklahoma City, OK (Grassroots Newswire) April 7, 2011 --Bob and Dixie Linn broker/owners of EXIT Bob Linn Real Estate located in Edmond, Oklahoma were recently presented with the prestigious Spirit of EXIT Award at EXIT Realty Arkansas & Oklahoma's Regional Meeting and Awards Ceremony that was held in Northwest Arkansas.

The Spirit of EXIT is given to individuals that have qualities that best represent EXIT Realty such as loyalty, team spirit, perseverance, and determination to excel. Bob and Dixie, who have been in real estate for over 41 years, opened their EXIT franchise in Oklahoma City, in August 2007.

As a dedicated member of the real estate industry and the real estate profession, Bob has worked and served both in the public and with the Realtor Association for over 35 years. He has served in many capacities including President of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of Realtors in 1984 and again in 2004. Additionally, Bob has served as the State President for the Oklahoma Association of Realtors in 1992. As a past president, he received a position as a director with the Oklahoma Board of Directors for life. Bob has received many Realtor Awards including the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association's 1987 Realtor of the Year, 1993 National Association of Realtors "OMEGA TAU RHO Award"; he was also chosen Realtor of the Year of the State of Oklahoma in 1995. He recently received a Life Membership award from the Oklahoma Association of Realtors. Bob has also been active in the Oklahoma Arthritis Foundation.

Dixie has been active in the REALTOR Association for the local, state and national levels and holds the GRI designation. Serving with numerous committees and chairs, she has held the office of President of the Southern Oklahoma Board being the recipient of the Southern Oklahoma Realtor of the Year Award in 1989. Other Offices held by Dixie include RPAC Trustee, District Vice President and State Director for the Oklahoma association of Realtors.
