First Tuesdays Don't Have to End in Foreclosure!

Virginia's Home Rescue (CDRS Certified Members), offers assistance to homeowners who may be facing foreclosure

Manassas, Virginia (Grassroots Newswire) 10/25/2011 -- Are you aware of what takes place on our local courthouse steps on the first Tuesday of every month? Do you know that the foreclosure rate in Virginia is at an all-time high and that it has almost tripled in the last five years? Are you aware that this month alone, today in fact, over 700 families in Prince William and surrounding counties­ will lose their homes at the foreclosure auction? This is an incredibly startling and sad testament to the lingering effects our local economy has experienced over the last several years. It is one thing to listen to these statistics on the news or read about them in our local newspaper, but it is completely another when, due to a temporary financial set-back, a loss of job, a divorce, a sickness or death in the family, or any other turn of events that might create a financial hardship, that unlucky statistic becomes you… you who is facing the devastation of having to walk away from the house that you and your family have come to know as “home”.

The tragedy is that so many homeowners simply do not know all the options that might be available to them and they end up, unnecessarily, losing their homes simply because they did not know who to call. Virginia’s Home Rescue (VHR) is a team of licensed Realtors with Exit Gridiron Realty with the primary purpose of providing solutions for the distressed homeowner who is, for whatever reason, potentially facing foreclosure. Our single purpose and hope is to reach each and every homeowner who is in this predicament, to educate them on their options, and then to see how we might work together to find a solution that best fits their situation and needs. Currently, we are working with a number of families and are experiencing about a 96% success rate, which translates into about 10 families per month that we are able to save from the devastating consequences of a foreclosure. We work closely with an ever-growing number of mortgage lenders across the country to negotiate a mutually agreeable solution for both the homeowner and the bank. There is no cost or risk to the homeowner and, while we cannot guarantee any particular outcome, we do commit ourselves to giving each and every situation our full attention and to making every effort possible to turn every situation into another success story for us all.

While it is incredibly rewarding for us to be helping these families, this represents only a tiny percent of the folks who are in this crisis. Our resources are limited and it is just simply impossible through our current marketing efforts to get the message out to the growing number of folks who need to know about our services.
