Tami Bonnell Named Among Banker & Tradesman's 2012 Women of FIRE
EXIT Realty's US President Honored as Brilliant, Innovative Leader
Woburn, MA –
The second annual Women of FIRE award celebrates the best and the brightest women in the Massachusetts FIRE industry. With the help of Banker & Tradesman readers, a group of judges sorted through the many nominations and chose 20 brilliant, innovative leaders to be named this year’s Women of FIRE.
“We searched for the best of the best - those women who are making a difference through innovation, hard work, team-building, philanthropy, mentoring or leadership – and these women demonstrate these roles,” said Timothy M. Warren Jr., CEO of The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.
A Massachusetts resident, Bonnell has been the President of the U.S. Organization of EXIT Realty Corp. International (and heads up the U.S. division, EXIT Realty Corp. USA out of Woburn) since 2001. She is a 30-year-plus real estate industry veteran and played a significant role in the building of three major brands. In 2011, Bonnell was honored as a finalist in the category of Executive of the Year – Services by the 2011 American Business Awards. Closer to home, she is a past president of Alternative House (a shelter for battered women in Lowell) and served on the board of directors for several years. She has been actively involved in several Habitat for Humanity home builds, both in New England and nationally, and fundraisers including walks in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She has taught self defense for at-risk youth and at battered women’s shelters and most recently for a REALTOR association in Southern California.
“I am honored to be recognized with such great, powerful women,” said Bonnell. “I am very fortunate to work with a group of professionals who make it a joy to go to work every day.”
