Annual Community Shredding Event

Hamilton, Montana (Grassroots Newswire) April 1, 2015 -- This past Saturday, EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley hosted a ‘Shred the Word’ event in its parking lot at 99 Marcus St in Hamilton.  The large shredding truck from Tear It Up loaded the private documents of local residents into its hopper and shredded it all in no time.

Despite the inclement weather, residents enjoyed coffee and donuts supplied by Justine Wagner of the Ravalli Republic.  EXIT Realty volunteers loaded the hoppers providing a drive through service. In total, 6,742 pounds of paper was shredded.  The shredded paper will be delivered to a recycling plant where it will find new life in such things as egg cartons or paper napkins.
