East Side Community Center Gives Back to the Community

Newark, New Jersey (Grassroots Newswire) 5/19/2020 -- Our community has been devastated by the recent COVID pandemic. It has left our people unable to feed their families or properly protect themselves. To aid those most effected, East Side Community Center is currently accepting donations in the form of canned goods, rice, cereal, children’s toys, clothes, masks, gloves as well as monetary contributions to buy such items.

Thankfully, East Side Community Center was able to commence its first round of aid to Newark residents on May 15. This would not have been possible without the contributions of Northpoint Bank - Ralph Vitiello, EXIT Realty Jackson - Michael Kafton, Residential Home Funding Corp - Newton Duarte, Noble Title - Robert Rossi, ConnectOne Bank, and the local Newark Police Department. Captain Costa arrived on site to express gratitude and be of assistance with his team.

Although East Side Community Center has ample items for its initial distribution, continued donations and support are necessary to help our Newark neighbors.
