Tom Ponder as new Broker/Manager
Montgomery, Alabama (Grassroots Newswire) September 12, 2016 -- EXIT Hodges Real Estate is excited to welcome Tom Ponder as our new broker/manager.Tom Ponder began his real estate career as a sales associate and became the youngest real estate agent in the Birmingham Alabama real estate market to be qualify for life membership in the Birmingham Area Board of Realtors Million Dollar Sales Club. As his career progressed, Tom moved into a management position with the companies that eventually merged to become RealtySouth.
Tom served as qualifying broker for the Vestavia Hills, Trussville, Hoover, Clanton, and Tuscaloosa Alabama offices. Once these offices were profitable, Tom was moved to corporate to oversee the commercial sales division, relocation division and the new construction sales and marketing divisions. Tom opened Realty Place LLC and within five years his agents had captured a 26% market share with 20 agents while his bigger competitors with larger agent counts lost market share.
Tom developed a belief and philosophy that the quality of the agents associated with his company would out preform the “quantity of agents” philosophy promoted the mega offices. Tom proved that for real estate sales agents to succeed the broker must provide the best environment for success by offering continuing training, motivation, and full time broker support.
As the qualifying Broker/Manager for EXIT Hodges Realty, Tom will join with Paul Hodges to spread the dream and passion the Hodges family brings to the Montgomery Real Estate Community.
