Local Real Estate Agents Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity Home Build

Hollis, New York (Grassroots Newswire) July 6th 2015 -- More than sixty real estate agents from EXIT Kingdom Realty, EXIT Realty Landmark and across the region of EXIT Realty Downstate NY will volunteer with Habitat for Humanity  July 15 -17 for a new home construction building blitz in the Hollis, Queens.

More than 1 billion people worldwide live in urban slums and in the U.S. alone, 45.3 million people live in poverty.  Habitat for Humanity  believes that every person should have a decent and affordable place to live and through their world-wide network of volunteers, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing.

The Hollis build is being coordinated by Habitat for Humanity NYC which was founded in 1984 and builds in the five boroughs of New York City.   Habitat for Humanity partners with families who invest sweat-equity hours in building their home and others.  They make affordable down-payments, timely mortgage payments and attend homeowner education classes.
