EXIT REALTY LANDMARK PRESENTS HOMEWOWNER/FORECLOSURE WORKSHOP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BROOKLYN BOROUGH PRESIDENT ERIC ADAMS

SPOTLIGHT ON FINANCIAL LITERACY EMPOWERMENT MONTH

New York, NY (Grassroots Newswire) April 21, 2014 -- On Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 Reshonah Bennett and Athena Pettway of EXIT Realty Landmark will hold a Homeowners workshop at the Flatbush Library located at 22 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn, NY 11226 from 5pm-7pm.  This will be part of the many workshops that will be held throughout Brooklyn for Financial Literacy Month, which was proclaimed by Borough President Eric Adams recently.

On March 31, 2014, Eric Adams declared April Financial Empowerment Month in Brooklyn, saying “You know that I announced financial literacy as one of my administration’s top priorities. Financial literacy is a crucial tool that we will use to achieve economic stability and prosperity across Brooklyn in the coming years. Going forward, I want to work with you to empower our residents and small businesses. It is important that we look for ways to partner to help residents make financially sound decisions as well as to learn ways to better manage their money. It is also just as important to protect our vulnerable Brooklynites from scams.”

As a Brooklynite herself, and member of the Financial Literacy Committee, Reshonah is leading one of the most educational workshops of the month.  “I am honored to partner with Athena Pettway and Olga Savelov of Sterling National Back to be part of a movement that empowers a change in the lives of many.  Through our ongoing efforts to teach and share essential tools, we will build and strengthen communities, individuals, businesses and families.” said Reshonah Bennett.
