 Patrick Paulson Named 2018 Realtor® of the Year by the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors®

Pat has been in the Real Estate industry for 32 years - selling, managing and teaching.  He has served the National Association of Realtors® as a Board Member for three years and on the Federal Taxation committee for four years as well as the Research Committee.

He has been active in the Minnesota State Association of Realtors® on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, both past and currently.  He has also served the State in Governmental Affairs, and Professional Standards and Finance committees.

At the Local level, Pat is a Past President of the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors®. He was a Board member for many years, of which four years were served on the Executive Committee.  He has been on a number of committees within the local association over the years, too many to list here.  He has served as Treasurer twice.  Pat Founded and also chaired both the Research Tech Committee and the Diversity Committee.  He has also been very active on the Government Affairs, Global Council and Finance committees.

Married, Pat has four daughters and three grandsons.   He teaches Taekwondo; serves on the Board of Directors of the newly formed Wirth Co-op which is designed to provide healthy foods to that neighborhood.   Pat has been involved for over 25 years in the PRG nonprofit housing organization.  He is also on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Fair Housing Center and on the Board of Directors of the Kingfield Neighborhood Association.

Needless to say, Pat is very deserving of receiving this honor from his local Association.  Pat joined EXIT 10 years ago when Broker Carson Brooks founded EXIT Realty Metro close to downtown Minneapolis in November of 2009.  As part of the EXIT Realty Metro Team, he is instrumental in training new and seasoned Realtors in the industry to help them enhance and grow their own personal careers.  He has brought a number of Realtors into the EXIT family and continues to do so along with his own personal production each year.
