EXIT Realty Metro real estate agents collected 358 pairs of new men's, women's and children's socks which were donated to Mary's Place at Sharing and Caring Hands, LLC. In addition to the socks, EXIT Realty Metro matched the sock count with an additional $726 dollars which was part of EXIT Corp. Internationals  "Spirit of Giving" program.

Wounded Warriors Canada's mission is "To honour and support Canada's ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and their families."

2018 Dandies Recognized

February 15th at 514 Studios

Minneapolis, Minnesota (Grassroots Newswire) February 8, 2018 --  The Dandies Project is a positive movement highlighting men who find success in serving their community. The recognition reception for the 2018 Class of Dandies will be held at 514 Studios, located at 514 North 3^rd, Ste. 101 in Minneapolis.  The Reception begins at 6 pm and will last until at least 8 pm.

Each Dandy will be introduced and recognized for their community service.  As a Dandy each individual is expected to continue his community service in addition to working with the Dandies Alumni in volunteer activities to assist community youth and to project and educate those as to what a “Dandy” stands for and encouraging the youth to aspire to achieve equal or better status. 

The Dandies Project is carefully curated and designed into a look book which will serve as the fundraiser effort of the 2018 Dandies. The proceeds from the books purchased will go to benefit a local charity “Lovely’s Sewing and Art Collective, LLC” (LSAC) founded  by Keiona Cook.

Lovey's Sewing & Arts Collective was established in June of 2009 under the Mother for-profit company Qe'Bella Couture. The owner Keiona Cook had a vision to bring back a lost art (Sewing) to the Northside community after research and findings that in the late 1980's Sewing Economics was taken out of the public schools due to financing.  

The Dandies Project highlights the positive influence and impact that men have in their community while keeping a strong sense of individuality thru personal self-awareness and style. Pat has been in the Real Estate industry for 32 years - selling, managing and teaching.  He has served the National Association of Realtors® as a Board Member for three years and on the Federal Taxation committee for four years as well as the Research Committee.

He has been active in the Minnesota State Association of Realtors® on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, both past and currently.  He has also served the State in Governmental Affairs, and Professional Standards and Finance committees.

At the Local level, Pat is a Past President of the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors®. He was a Board member for many years, of which four years were served on the Executive Committee.  He has been on a number of committees within the local association over the years, too many to list here.  He has served as Treasurer twice.  Pat Founded and also chaired both the Research Tech Committee and the Diversity Committee.  He has also been very active on the Government Affairs, Global Council and Finance committees.

Married, Pat has four daughters and three grandsons.   He teaches Taekwondo; serves on the Board of Directors of the newly formed Wirth Co-op which is designed to provide healthy foods to that neighborhood.   Pat has been involved for over 25 years in the PRG nonprofit housing organization.  He is also on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Fair Housing Center and on the Board of Directors of the Kingfield Neighborhood Association.

He has received the MAAR’s  Emerging Markets, Jean Leake Scholarship and represented the Association at the National Association of Realtors Annual convention in Washington DC. Hartung is also on the Global Council, Research and Technology Committee and the National Associations of Realtors (NAR) Diversity Committee.

Minneapolis, MN (Grassroots Newswire) December 10, 2015 -- EXIT Realty Metro is hosting the 34^th Community Artist Exhibit at the Metro Gallery on December 17^th from 5-8 pm.  Photographs by Tom Reynen, a professional, digital photographer will be featured.  Reynen specializes in landscapes, architectural details, travel scenes and nature photos, particularly close-ups of flowers.  He loves working with bright colors, and enjoys especially creating photos in black and white.  The title of this photographic display is, “Paris in Black and White”.

Reynen’s photographs have been displayed at the Mill District Arts Gallery, Evoke Gallery, Artists Mercantile, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, Altered Esthetics, Very Barrie Gallery, Gallery 96, AZ Gallery and the Hopkins Center for the Arts.  A very active member of the local and national arts community, Reynen is Vice-President of the St. Paul Art Collective, Treasurer and Marketing Manager for the AZ Gallery in St. Paul and is on the board of Gallery 96.
