Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, Ms. Sayer reflects on a successful career in her local community. Presently, she is the Owner of EXIT Realty Connections, where she also excels as a Broker of Record and Real Estate Agent. In this position, she specializes in residential and commercial real estate in Northern New Jersey. Prior to opening real estate offices, Ms. Sayer was a public-school Music Educator at Warren Hills Regional School District from 1984 to 2007. During these years, her bands won many accolades throughout the tri-state area and her Jazz Ensemble was picked up as a model student group for The Manhattan School of Music Graduate Jazz Program. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College in 1981, and a Master of Arts in Instrumental Music Conducting from Trenton State College in 1986.
Ms. Sayer resides in Blairstown, NJ. Her beloved late husband John Sayer owned John Sayer LLC and was a well-respected mason contractor. Ms. Sayer has 2 accomplished children. Taylor Evans, Founder and Owner of "FinSci Capital Management LLC," an Investment Advisory Company. Adison Evans is a world class musician. Adison was a professor at Juilliard at the age 21. She toured the world twice with Beyonce and Jay Z. Adison has performed with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Trish Yearwood, Christian McBride, Demi Lovato, Stevie Wonder and many more. Adison's first album "Hero" was named the 14th best Jazz Album for 2016. Adison released her 2nd album "Meridian" in the summer of 2018. Adison also is the Owner of "Neighborhood Compost," a subscription-based compost pickup service and farm share rooted in Hudson/Bergen County, NJ. Debbie takes great pride in her family.
Ms. Sayer upon retiring from teaching started a career in Real Estate. Within in her first few years of Real Estate, she became a top agent in Northern NJ and joined the EXIT Realty Franchise. Within 3 years of joining EXIT, she opened her 1st office, EXIT Realty Connections in 2013. To date, Ms. Sayer owns 4 EXIT territories and currently has her Corporate Office in Hackettstown - Warren County, and offices in Randolph - Morris County and Hamburg - Sussex County. She takes much pride in educating her agents to become the best agents they can be and grants them the best marketing and agent tools to take care of their clients with "Good Old Fashioned Service."
Ms. Sayer has been successful every step of the way while forging her career paths, whether it was Music Education or Real Estate. She attributes her success to her father, who instilled within her the conviction that she must put a great deal of effort into all that she does, no matter what it is.
