The public is invited to attend the 3rd annual CHEERS FOR CASA event. There will be food, live music, and a ticket drop auction hosted by EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN associates to raise money and awareness for this special program. The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program provides crucial support for foster children by pairing them with trained volunteers who advocate for their best interests in court. These dedicated advocates offer stability, guidance, and a voice for children navigating the complexities of the child welfare system, ensuring they receive proper care and attention. CASA volunteers currently serves over 300 children every year across Southwest Louisiana. EXIT associates are passionate about helping these special volunteers continue their important work for kids across our area. The Spirit of EXIT charitable fund will be matching dollar for dollar, up to the first $4,500, raised at the event.

CASA volunteers play a pivotal role in the lives of over 300 children each year across Southwest Louisiana, who find themselves in the court system due to neglect or abuse. Sulphur/Lake Charles, LA (Grassroots Newswire) 6/1/2023 -- In gratitude for the support shown to EXIT Realty Southern by the local community, on May 4, 2023, EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN and it’s associates hosted it’s 2nd annual Cheers for CASA, a fundraiser to benefit Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers serving kids all across Southwest Louisiana.

CASA volunteers serve as a judge’s eyes and ears for kids that have been removed from their families due to allegations of abuse or neglect. With over 400+ new cases every year, these volunteers give countless hours and resources serving their CASA kids, and carry a huge burden and responsibility to the court. EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN associates are passionate about supporting this cause because of the need it meets for our communities. While most of us are fortunate to have never experienced such abuse and/or neglect, we believe every child has the right to a safe and caring home. The Cheers for CASA event allows us to give back to those who give so much for local kids and families trying to navigate through the court system. The Cheers for CASA event consisted of a ticket drop raffle for participants to win 27+ high-end items, live music, VIP Table Sponsors, and a catered meal with refreshments. This event would not have been possible without the participation and support of everyone within EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN (agents & staff) and affiliates within the real estate industry such as mortgage lenders, home inspectors, insurance agents, and real estate agents from other area firms. The event raised a net total of $12,121.29 and with the $5,000 Spirit of EXIT dollar-for-dollar match a grand total of $17,121.29 was donated to CASA.
