Katie was born and raised in Southern Maryland and she is married to her best friend and mother to 4 beautiful children. Her and her daughters are horse lovers through and through, she says it is in their blood. Katie has over 15 years experience in the legal aspect of Real Estate and she has also obtained her Associates degree in Paralegal studies. Katie LOVES, LOVES, LOVES homes! Old homes, new homes, small, big, rustic, or modern. The different characteristics of each home and what they say about the owner(s). Every house tells a story and she would love to help you write your story or to help in moving onto a new chapter. After having her third child she realized that she wanted to do something different something more, after staging and selling her family home, which then led to looking at homes to purchase, she realized she was working at the back end of real estate. When she should have been making buyers and seller’s dreams come true by showing them the potentials of home ownership or assisting sellers in the staging of their home that no longer met their needs. Katie has a passion for finding diamonds in the rough. She can walk into a house and envision a home, with a little renovating and TLC. She takes pride in the fact that she understands what it is like to be in the shoes of her clients, as she has had to sell two homes and purchase three personally, as her family grew.
