Multiple Award-Winning Real Estate Broker and Office Committed to Service
Jackson, MN – In these times of real estate challenges and change, consumers and professionals alike are learning success is found with leaders like Broker/Owner, Lee A. Porter of EXIT Realty – Great Plains in Jackson, MN, who lean into these moments as opportunities for betterment and action.
As a retired Sergeant with the U.S. Army National Guard, Porter has always taken his role in the business very seriously, successfully replicating this integrity across his six brokerages and several satellite offices throughout Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota. For this reason, he was recently awarded the honor of EXIT Realty’s Broker of the Year in the company’s Central U.S. division at their 2024 convention held at the prestigious Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL.
It was here, during the highly anticipated awards ceremony, where Porter also accepted the awards for #2 Highest Producing Office - Sides (Multiple), and the #5 Highest Grossing Office (Multiple) in North America, as well as earned a Bronze Award in recognition of personally closing over 25 real estate transactions in EXIT’s production year, which runs from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
“Lee is a born leader. Since joining EXIT, he has been all-in for our brand as well as his agents, community and serving in leadership roles in our industry,” explained Craig Witt, EXIT’s U.S. CEO, who was in attendance for the awards presentation along with Co-Chair, Tami Bonnell, and EXIT’s Founder and Chairman, Steve Morris. “He’s strong, focused, determined and well-respected in his market for his unwavering commitment to representing his clients and agents at the highest level. Lee participates, contributes and inspires everyone he interacts with in EXIT, and we are proud to award him Broker of the Year for his division.”
A veteran in the real estate industry also, Porter has 18 years of experience, eight of those serving under the EXIT brand and the last five taking on leadership roles within local real estate associations. He’s one of only 20 successful candidates recently accepted into the highly sought after and competitive National Association of REALTORS’® Leadership Academy for their 2025 class, and looks forward to bringing back what he learns through this experience to clients as well as his agents after growing alongside the association as it evolves.
