Culpeper, Virginia (Grassroots Newswire) 6/2/20 -- According to the Bright MLS, home sales in the Culpeper market were steady last month.

In Culpeper County, 54 homes closed in May ranging from $120,000 to $750,000 in price. There are 144 active listings right now and 124 pending /under contract deals. It is a good time to jump in the real estate market.

Culpeper Real Estate Market Overview

Culpeper, Virginia (Grassroots Newswire) 5/6/20 -- According to the Bright MLS, home sales in the Culpeper market were Down last month. 

"What this means for home sellers is if you are ready to sell it is time. Inventory is so low, we do not have enough houses for our buyers," said Ellen Butters, Broker/Owner of EXIT Cornerstone Realty.  "And for homebuyers they must be prepared and pre approved. What does come on the market goes very quickly.."

25 of the 41 sales in April were in the $200,000 to $400,000 price range which is in line with our areas median sales price. Additionally 11 sales were over $400,000.
